Batteries Directive
Stricter rules on the supply of batteries and accumulators for UK businesses were introduced in September 2008. New rules regarding disposal of used batteries are expected in 2009, and will affect recovery and recycling of all types of batteries. Any organisation which has used batteries to dispose of will be affected.
