Pop-up
blockers (Windows XP, Google, Yahoo and others). If you
have a pop-up blocker enabled, links
to other websites may not open. So if you click
a link and nothing happens, hold down the Ctrl key and click the
link again (holding the Ctrl key overrides the pop-up blocker).

accessibility - bigger text and colour
changes
If
you need to change the size of the text or the colours on the page,
most browsers will allow you to change the background and text colours
(as well as the colour of hyperlinks) and to change font size. There
is no sound on this website.
Click
on your browser name to find out how to change the settings (after
making changes you may need to click on the "Refresh"
or "Reload" button for the changes to take effect)

Improving Colour Contrast:
- Click on "Tools" at the top right of the window
- Select Internet Options
- Click on the Accessibility button
- Check the box next to "Ignore colors specified on web pages"
- Click on OK once to return to the options menu
- Click on the Colors button
- Deselect "Use Windows colors" (click to get rid of the check mark in the box)
- Click on the colour that you wish to modify (text, background or links)
- Click on the desired colour from the colour palette
- Click on OK once to return to the Colors menu
- Click on OK again when you've completed your modifications
- With the second click, the colours on your screen should change
- Experiment with a variety of combinations until you find the one that is most comfortable for reading on-screen

- Click the magnifier symbol at the bottom right of the window and select a magnification percentage
